Shitake mushroom pesto pasta

Instructions
  1. Boil the pasta for 5 minutes then drain, and set aside (if using dried pasta, then follow packet instructions).
  2. Finely chop the onion and fry over medium heat in a little olive oil or butter.
  3. Slice mushrooms and olives, and add to pan, frying for another 4 minutes.
  4. Spoon the creme fraiche into the pan along with shiitake Mushroom pesto and gently mix the ingredients together.
  5. Toss pasta in the sauce and serve sprinkled with toasted almonds. Serve with a side salad and garlic bread, for a delicious Italian meal.
