Garlic Ciabatta
This hearty bread is the perfect side to your next weekend braai!

Instructions
  1. Combine the butter ingredients, with some salt and pepper, and mix well.
  2. Roughly chop your veggies, and sauté for 5 minutes in a pan with a little olive oil, just to get them going. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Slice your ciabatta, being careful not to slice all the way through. Place on some heavy duty foil, or a few layers of normal foil.
  4. Spread butter evenly between the slices, and spoon in the veg mixture. Using half the grated cheese, sprinkle in between each slice. Then scatter the rest of the cheese over the top.
  5. Wrap the foil closed and braai over medium-hot coals for 30 minutes, moving it around and turning every 5 minutes. Don’t forget about it – you don’t want it to burn! This also works well if popped in a hot oven (180 degrees) for about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve as a deliciously garlicky-cheesy side to your next Sunday braai – yum!
